What a wonderful day we had raising money for BBC Children in Need! Our pupils came to school dressed in spots, stripes and all manner of colourful outfits to support this fantastic cause that helps disadvantaged children across the United Kingdom.

As part of Road Safety Week organised by the road safety charity Brake, our children have been learning vital skills to help them stay safe on the roads around our village and beyond. This year's theme focused on safe walking and cycling.

This week we joined schools across the country in marking Anti-Bullying Week with the theme "Reach Out". The children have been learning about the importance of reaching out to someone they trust if they are worried about bullying, and reaching out to those who may be experiencing difficulties.

Our annual Harvest Festival service at All Saints Church was a truly uplifting occasion this year. The children sang beautifully and shared readings reflecting on the importance of being thankful for the food we eat and thinking of those less fortunate than ourselves.
